Eco Rescue
Eco Rescue is a serious game designed around attention bias modification. This game intend to help with therapies for people who have anxiety troubles by modifying the attention bias that patients can have while reading for example human facial expression of emotions.
I was hired as an game design intern at the University of Geneva in the lab of Daphne Bavelier (2018) to work on adapting the game to distract the patients from the aim of the therapy and to make the prototype feel more like a real game. This game is now used for psychology studies by the lab, and was nominated as one of the finalists in the “Best Educational Game Award” category of the TIGA Games Industry Awards in London in November 2018.
